Sweet Oasis Mixes offers dry dessert kits and related products, including:

Product selection, pricing, packaging, ingredients, weights, availability, preparation directions and flavor options may change when products are improved or supplies change.

Flavor and Variation Selections

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct flavor, Add In, quantity and other available options before adding a product to the cart.

The options shown in the completed order confirmation are considered the selections submitted by the customer.

Orders

Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. Sweet Oasis Mixes may refuse, limit or cancel an order for reasons including:

• An address outside the available sales area

If payment was collected for an order that Sweet Oasis Mixes cancels, the appropriate amount will be returned through the original payment method.

Michigan-Only Sales

Sweet Oasis Mixes currently sells and delivers its cottage-food products only within the State of Michigan.

Orders using an address outside Michigan may be refused or canceled.

Cottage-food sales must be made directly between Sweet Oasis Mixes and the final consumer. The website, contact form and published contact information provide customers an opportunity to communicate directly with Sweet Oasis Mixes before purchasing.

Delivery, Pickup and Shipping

Available fulfillment methods, service areas, costs and estimated timeframes will be displayed during checkout or communicated with the customer.

Delivery and shipping estimates are not guarantees. Delays may occur because of weather, carrier operations, incorrect address information, holidays, order volume or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery or shipping address. Additional charges caused by an incorrect address, refused package or unsuccessful delivery may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.

Returns, Refunds and Order Problems

Because Sweet Oasis products are food items, returns and exchanges are limited for food-safety reasons.

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes promptly if an order arrives damaged, contains the wrong product or has another confirmed problem. Photographs of the package, product, shipping label or damage may be requested.

Eligibility for a replacement, refund or other resolution depends on the facts of the order and the applicable Return and Refund Policy .

Preparation, Storage and Product Use

Customers are responsible for reading and following the preparation, storage, refrigeration, baking, cooling and handling directions supplied with the selected product.

Finished results may vary because of water measurement, mixing method, ingredient temperature, appliance differences, pan placement, baking time, refrigeration time and other preparation conditions.

Adult supervision should be used when preparation involves an oven, microwave, hot cookware or other kitchen equipment.

Prepared products must be stored and handled according to the instructions supplied with the kit.

Michigan Cottage-Food Operation

Sweet Oasis Mixes currently operates under the Michigan Cottage Food Law for qualifying products. Cottage-food products are prepared and packaged in the kitchen of a primary domestic residence and are exempt from routine food-establishment licensing and inspection requirements.

Cottage-food packages include the required statement:

Made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development.

The cottage-food exemption does not remove the obligation to provide safe, unadulterated and properly labeled food. Applicable food-safety, labeling, sales and recordkeeping requirements still apply.

Website Accounts and Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account login information and for activity performed through their account.

Notify Sweet Oasis Mixes promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or the business.
