Overview

Sweet Oasis Group LLC, doing business as Sweet Oasis Mixes, sells packaged dry dessert kits and Add Ins.

Food products generally cannot be returned and placed back into inventory after they have left our control. For this reason, returns and exchanges are limited.

Nothing in this policy limits a customer right or remedy that cannot legally be limited.

Products That Cannot Be Returned

Sweet Oasis Mixes generally cannot accept a physical return of:

• Opened food products
• Used or partially prepared products
• Products handled or stored by the customer
• Products returned without prior authorization
• Food products that have left our control, even if the outer package remains unopened

Do not mail or deliver a product back unless Sweet Oasis Mixes has specifically instructed you to do so.

Eligible Order Problems

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes promptly if:

• You received the wrong product or flavor
• An item listed on the order is missing
• The package arrived materially damaged
• The product package was opened during delivery
• The order was not delivered
• The product appears defective or unsuitable for use before preparation
• The order contains another confirmed fulfillment error

How to Report a Problem

Include:

• Your name
• Your order number
• The affected product and selected flavor
• A clear description of the problem
• Photographs of the product, label, packaging, shipping box and damage when applicable

Keep the product, label, packing materials and shipping container until Sweet Oasis Mixes has reviewed the issue. Discarding them before review may make it difficult to confirm the problem.

Damaged Deliveries

If a package arrives damaged, photograph the outside shipping box, shipping label, internal packaging and affected product before opening or discarding more than necessary.

Minor cosmetic damage to an outer shipping container does not automatically qualify for a refund if the sealed food product remains intact and safe to use.

Missing Deliveries

If tracking shows that an order was delivered but you cannot locate it, first check the delivery area, household members, nearby entrances and any notice provided by the carrier.

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes if the package remains missing. Carrier information or additional verification may be required before a resolution is issued.

Refunds, Replacements or Store Credit

After reviewing the available information, Sweet Oasis Mixes may provide an appropriate resolution such as:

• Replacement of the affected product
• Replacement of a missing component
• A full or partial refund
• Store credit
• Another reasonable resolution agreed upon with the customer

The available resolution depends on the nature of the problem, available inventory, order value, delivery information and supporting documentation.

Refund Method and Processing

Approved refunds are normally issued through the original payment method.

After Sweet Oasis Mixes submits a refund, additional processing time may be required by the payment provider or financial institution before the credit appears.

Original delivery or shipping charges may be refunded when the full order was affected by a confirmed Sweet Oasis fulfillment error or delivery problem. They are generally not refunded for customer cancellations, customer address errors or change-of-mind requests.

Order Cancellations and Changes

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes immediately if you need to cancel an order or change a flavor, Add In, quantity or address.

Cancellation or modification is not guaranteed after payment has been processed or preparation, packaging or fulfillment has begun.

If an approved cancellation results in nonrecoverable payment or fulfillment costs, those costs may be deducted where permitted by law and disclosed to the customer.

Customer Selection Errors

Customers are responsible for reviewing the product, flavor, Add In, quantity and other options shown in the cart and order confirmation.

A refund or replacement is generally not available when the product supplied matches the selection submitted by the customer.

Incorrect Address or Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate Michigan delivery or shipping address.

Sweet Oasis Mixes is not responsible for loss, delay or additional expense caused by:

• An incorrect or incomplete address
• A missing apartment or unit number
• An outdated address saved in a customer account
• A refused delivery
• A package left unclaimed or undeliverable for reasons outside our control

If a package is returned because of customer-provided information, additional delivery or shipping charges may be required before it is sent again.

Preparation and Finished Results

Customers are responsible for following the water measurements, mixing, baking, microwave, cooling, chilling, storage and other directions provided with the selected product.

Refunds are generally not provided for results caused by:

• Incorrect water measurement
• Failure to include a required mix or flavor pack
• Overmixing or undermixing
• Incorrect oven or microwave settings
• Overbaking or underbaking
• Insufficient cooling or refrigeration time
• Improper storage after delivery or preparation
• Substitution of ingredients not included in the directions

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes if you believe the sealed product itself was defective rather than the result being caused by preparation conditions.

Flavor Preference and Change of Mind

Personal taste preferences vary. Refunds are generally not available solely because a customer does not prefer a selected flavor, texture or finished dessert when the correct product was supplied and it was not defective.

Refunds are also generally unavailable for change-of-mind purchases.

Ingredients and Allergens

Customers are responsible for reviewing the ingredient list and allergen statement before purchasing, preparing or consuming a product.

Refunds are generally unavailable when allergen or ingredient information was accurately disclosed on the product packaging and the customer later determines that the product is unsuitable.

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes before ordering if you need clarification about an ingredient or allergen statement.

Gift Purchases

A refund for a gift order is normally returned to the original purchaser and original payment method unless another arrangement is approved by Sweet Oasis Mixes.

Promotional and Sale Items

Eligible problems involving discounted or promotional products will be reviewed under the same basic standards as regularly priced products.

Any approved refund generally will not exceed the amount actually paid for the affected product.

Suspected Fraud or Policy Abuse

Sweet Oasis Mixes may deny or limit a request involving suspected fraud, altered documentation, repeated unsupported claims, chargeback misuse or other abuse of this policy.

Payment Disputes

Contact Sweet Oasis Mixes before submitting a payment dispute so there is an opportunity to review and resolve the order problem directly.

This does not prevent a customer from exercising any payment or consumer right available under applicable law.

Michigan-Only Sales

Sweet Oasis Mixes currently sells and delivers cottage-food products only within the State of Michigan.

Orders using an address outside Michigan may be declined or canceled and refunded through the original payment method.

Policy Changes

Sweet Oasis Mixes may update this policy when product, fulfillment, payment or business practices change.

The policy in effect when an order is submitted will generally apply to that order, except where another result is required by law.
